Ribbon Cuttings
A ribbon cutting was held by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors for new Chamber member Bluff Dwellers Cave, a beautiful Noel, Missouri cave located just 30 minutes from Grove. Inside the cave you will find beautiful formations in many different colors that are thousands of years old along with artifacts along the tour that tell the story of a time many, many years ago.

The cave was first explored in 1925 by landowner, Arthur Browning where they found a head sized opening to an amazing underground world and the longest cave in McDonald County. Public tours began in 1927 and the cave is still owned by members of the family – Ray and Ann Bunch. Ray is the grandson of Arthur Browning.

The guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour. You will also find a gift shop, a Geology and History Museum, and gem panning. Call 417-475-3666 for more information or email BluffDC@gmail.com.

Attending the ribbon cutting were Jennifer Fink, Friends Nutrition; Ann Bunch, Ray Bunch and Mark Collier with Bluff Dwellers Care; and Donnie Crain, president of Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.
A ribbon cutting was held by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors for new Chamber member Cooks Venture Poultry on Thursday, May 6 at their Jay location. Cooks Venture is on a mission to build a better food system for animals, the planet, and us. Founded by Mark Wadiak, they breed, raise and process pasture-raised heirloom chickens in Northwest Arkansas on 800 acres of beautiful forrested farmland in the foothills of the Ozarks. The birds are bred to thrive outside and spend every day outdoors foraging and roaming rough pasture and forest. They are never given antibiotics and are higher in antioxidants and Omega 3’s as well as Vitamin A.

Attending the ribbon cutting were Donnie Crain, president of Grove Area Chamber of Commerce; John Handley, Director of FSQA; Matthew Wadiak, CEO; Mark Fisher, Vice President of Operations; Kylie Hornbeck, HR Coordinator; Jennifer Fink, Friends Nutrition; Andrew Crawford, The Grove Sun; and Dustin Able, Grand Savings Bank.

The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors gathered for a ribbon cutting at The Turquoise Lilly Boutique, a new downtown business located at 16 W. 3rd St. in Grove. The boutique is owned by Jill McWilliams who also owns a store in Pawhuska. Thanks to the filming of “Killers of the Flower Moon” in Pawhuska and her store being used as a set in the movie for three months, Jill was finally able to pursue her dream of putting a second boutique in downtown Grove. You will want to check out the wonderful selection of items in the boutique including ladies and children’s items including hats, bags & shoes as well as western and lake attire.
