Your Chamber @ Work

“You gotta bloom where you're planted.” – Dolly Parton

It’s definitely the season of blooming in and around the lake region with no time for slowing down. The fishing tournament calendar is full, and we are gearing up for a large BassCat tournament in the last week of April. Our retail committee and marketing team are busy collaborating on an exciting new seasonal promotion to encourage visitors to explore the area to shop, stay, dine, and take in all the amenities of our area. In addition to increases in sales tax and profit margins for our members, we are hopeful some will consider home ownership during their time with us too! There is a lot to see at Grand Lake!

Be looking for details on the Grand Lake Adventure Passport and make plans now to take advantage of this opportunity to promote your brand and further market your business or organization to thousands of non-locals. The bonus of the promotion is that locals can participate too! There will be a cash giveaway when the promotion concludes at the end of the season. Stay tuned for more details. You will want to fill up as many passports as you can! It will pay to shop Grove & Grand Lake over the coming months.

We are finalizing the layout for our new 2025-2026 Grove & Grand Lake Vacation and Relocation Guide! We’ve added new sections and increased distribution schedules. What does that mean? More potential homeowners and thousands of visitors will have the new guide at their fingertips as they make buying and traveling decisions. There are a few ad spots still available through the end of the week. If you did not reserve your space, call today! We can still fit you in.

As we hop into spring and prepare for the summer and lake season, we hope you will engage with the Grove Area Chamber as we work to make Grand Lake the #1 Lake Community in America!

Have a fantastic week and enjoy the holiday weekend!
