Your Chamber @ Work

“I've got sunshine on a cloudy day.” – The Temptations

April has been full of showers, but the grass is green, flowers are blooming, and summer break is right around the corner. The excitement is in the air!

Packets went in the mail last week for investment opportunities for the annual Toes in the Grand Summer Kick-off Festival. This will be the 8th year for the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce to produce this exciting regional event. We have eight bands booked for two days of free entertainment. Our food truck alley is almost sold-out, and we will be welcoming back a carnival for added family fun. We are seeking additional non-food vendors. Forms can be downloaded on our website (www.groveok.org) or we can email them to you upon request. If you know of any vendors, send them our way. If you have any questions about sponsorships, please contact us.

Our new vacation and relocation guide is in the final stages of production. We have a limited number of spots open for last-minute ads. If you did not get your reservation in, please let us know if you have interest in placing an ad in the 2025-2026 publication. If you know of someone considering membership with the Chamber, make sure they reach out this week to confirm information to be included in the member directory of the new guide. Time is running out and the guide is used as a top resource for the lake region. The new book will be in circulation for the next year. Don’t this opportunity. Come join us.

A huge thank you to the event sponsors and golf teams for our upcoming Chamber Spring Golf Tourney. This is a great opportunity to network with other businesses and enjoy a fun day on the course. We are just a few weeks away from the tournament so contact us today to get your team entered.

If you are hosting an event around the lake and it is not on our website, jump online and get it entered. The community calendar on the Chamber website is the top visited page and we are averaging hundreds of views each day. If you need assistance, contact our team at 918-786-9079.

Thanks for making April a great month of progress in and around the lake region. Your commitment to the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce ensures that we can continue to provide programming and be a resource for business and visitor development. Thank you for your engagement and for being a vital member of Team Grand Lake!

Make it a great week!
