January 14, 2026

We are moving through January and it's exciting to see all the momentum build in our region.

This Friday is the early bird deadline to get registered for the $300 Visa Gift Card drawing for completed applications for the Home, Garden, and Travel Show. The show is Feb 20-21 at the City of Grove's new Wolf Creek Expo. We are very excited to get things rolling as they open the expo facility next month. If you need a vendor packet, give us a call at 918-786-9079. You can still register up to the beginning of February but you miss the opportunity for a chance to win the drawing.

We are offering businesses and organizations an opportunity to participate in our raffle at the Home, Garden, and Travel Show. If you are interested in donating a gift basket, gift cards, or something unique to your business, please let us know. It's a great opportunity to get your information in front of thousands of show attendees.

We are launching a new event to kickoff the 2026 Legislative Session. Mark your calendars for Friday, January 30th as we host Coffee & Conversations, a free event for Chamber Members. Watch for details to be released later this week.

Thanks for your continued support of the GACC and for all the birthday wishes this week. It's a special time to be on Team Grand Lake.

Make it a great week,

~ Amanda

LEADERSHIP GROVE

Health & Human Services Day

The Health and Human Services session for Leadership Grove was held Wednesday at INTEGRIS Health Hospital and Grove EMS. The morning began with welcoming remarks from Jonas Rabel, Regional Chief Hospital Executive, followed by a Hospital Medical Panel featuring Logan Thronebury, Operations Director; Janene Ward, ER Manager; Danny Ludwig, Cath Lab Manager; Jessica Seaton, ICU Nurse Manager; Matt Tipton, Radiology Manager; Tarran McCrary, Respiratory Manager; and Corey Reeves, EMS Manager. Throughout the discussion, it was clear how blessed our community is to have a hospital of this scope, staffed by professionals who genuinely care for those they serve.

Participants then toured several key departments, including Radiology, the Cath Lab, Emergency Room, Surgery, Pharmacy, OB/Gyn, and the Medical Floor and Infusion areas, gaining valuable insight into the breadth of services available locally and the compassionate care provided every day. The afternoon continued at INTEGRIS EMS with a hands-on “Stop the Bleed” training, further highlighting the dedication to community health and safety.

Thank you to Tara Oelke for expertly coordinating the day and to INTEGRIS Health Hospital for providing a delicious lunch.
