Support Local. Strengthen Grove and Grand Lake.

Be LOCAL this Season.

The holiday season is the perfect time to make a real difference right here at home. Through the Shop Grand Lake promotion, the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce encourages everyone to shop, dine, and do business locally this year. Every dollar spent in our community helps support essential services, local jobs, and the small businesses that make Grove a wonderful place to live.

Seek out a participating merchant and make the decision to do as much of your holiday shopping as possible right here at home. Receive one ticket for every $25 spent and be entered for your chance to win CASH prizes over the next four weeks! When you choose to spend your money at a locally owned business, more of those dollars stay in our community—circulating through our schools, city services, and local nonprofits. It’s an investment in the people and places that make our hometown thrive.

The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to growing a strong local economy and helping our businesses succeed. By working together, we can ensure that our community remains vibrant, connected, and full of opportunity.

“When you shop local, you’re not just making a purchase—you’re making a difference.”

Thank you for making the Open House Weekend a huge success! Combined with the large fishing tournament in town, new dollars were spent throughout the area. When major events take place, we field calls for weeks from visitors asking for recommendations while they’re here. Thank you again to the hundreds of Chamber members who invest in our organization each year and for your trust in allowing us to make those important referrals. Together, we can continue to capture new dollars, grow our local economy, and strengthen our community.

Join us on December 18th as we welcome Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. as our guest speaker at the Chamber’s Holiday Legislative Luncheon at Shangri-La. We’re thrilled to partner with the Cherokee Nation and our friends at Shangri-La to bring this informative update to our members as we celebrate an incredible end to 2025. Tickets are available now, and reservations are required. Event details are included in this newsletter.

Lastly—and most importantly—we want to extend a special thank you to the many Veterans who have served and continue to serve our great nation. We appreciate you and are deeply grateful for your service.

Make it a great week!

~ Amanda
