GRAND LAKE FAMILY YMCA
The Parkinson's Support Group meets on the second Thursday each month at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is open to YMCA members & non-members. Caregivers are encouraged to attend. If you or someone you know has Parkinson's, there is a Parkinson's Combination Exercise Class and Speech Therapy Class that meets every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 in the YMCA's downstairs group fitness room. There are chair exercises for the body and speech exercise to strengthen the voice and the muscles used for swallowing. The class is free.

Friday, February 9th, the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting at Making Millions /Desk Rentals. Randy and Sherry Sherrell have opened this facility downtown where businesses or individuals can have a comfortable work space away from home. There are permanent, monthly, and daily spaces available that include WIFI and printing. Being from Grove and raising their family here makes it very important to them that downtown Grove is a successful and thriving area. Stop by to welcome them and check out this new facility!

CHAMBER CONNECTION LUNCHEON
Thank you to everyone that attended the Thursday, February 8th Chamber Connection Luncheon at the Community Center. We were honored to have the amazing Grove High School COW Week students speak. Each year they raise money for a local organization. This year is the Community Crisis Center. They spoke of all the ways they raise money and held a mock event "Mooving through Grove". If you would like to participate in this event or make a donation contact them at Cowweek@ridgerunners.net. Next, Ivan Devitt introduced Suzanne Boles. Suzanne was recently awarded the 2023 Governor's Arts Community Service Award. In attendance were Senator Markwayne Mullin's Field Representative Crystal Wood Campbell and Congressman Josh Brecheen's Field Representative Derrick Sisney. Thank you to Grand Savings Bank for sponsoring the event and providing a great lunch from Honey Creek BBQ. Thanks also to the Grand Savings Bank folks for setting up the tables and chairs.
