The Parkinson's Support Group meets on the second Thursday each month at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is open to YMCA members & non-members. Caregivers are encouraged to attend. If you or someone you know has Parkinson's, there is a Parkinson's Combination Exercise Class and Speech Therapy Class that meets every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 in the YMCA's downstairs group fitness room. There are chair exercises for the body and speech exercise to strengthen the voice and the muscles used for swallowing. The class is free.

Thursday, February 22nd, the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting at White Buffalo Lodge, 33621 S. 595 Rd. Grove, OK. The incredible lodge, three cabins, and the future Tipi Village are located on 400 scenic acres. Dr. Bruce Frye spoke about the Silk Deer, Plains Bison, Highland cattle, and Gypsy Vanner horses they are raising. They can host all types of events and natural, healthy, delicious food will be offered. The Fryes' have many exciting plans and visions for their land, lodge, and retreat/event center.

The Leadership Grove class of 2023/2024 had a great send off with a graduation dinner at Mulligans on Tuesday, February 20.
