“When we support local businesses, we’re supporting our neighbors, our friends, and our families.” – Steve Jobs

As things settle into a new season around the lake, it’s a great time to remember to support the local businesses that are a vital part of the quality of life in our town. The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is doing our part as we begin to roll out details for the annual Shop Grand Lake holiday shopping experience. We hope you were out last season earning your ticket for every $25 you spent as you started your holiday shopping. We gave away $2,800 in cash giveaways and the grand prize of $10,000 at our Grand Finale Event. With more than 40,000 tickets distributed last season, we would LOVE to double that number of tickets. Watch for details and plan to join us!

Speaking of shopping, this weekend is the Grove Merchant’s Fall Open House Weekend! There will be promotions and special deals all across town. Take advantage of the specials being offered by retailers and support them every chance you get. The flyer is posted on our Chamber Facebook page. Go check it out.

We are looking forward to our fall golf tournament at Patricia Island this Friday. Thanks to the teams and sponsors for supporting this annual fundraiser for our Chamber. We appreciate your support.

Have a great week,

~ Amanda
