Ribbon Cuttings
The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and staff gathered for a ribbon cutting for new Chamber member 420 Releaf on Wednesday, August 21 at their downtown location at 21 W. 3rd St. 420 Releaf has just been recently opened by owner Brad Berry and is a medical marijuana dispensary offering lab tested products including gummies, pre-roll, vapes, edibles, seeds, bath oil, smoking accessories, grow supplies, and a gift shop area. If you are looking for a natural medicine with fewer side effects, check out 420 Releaf. The staff will be happy to spend time teaching you about medical marijuana and how it can help you. 420 Releaf also offers a variety of popcorn flavors and rents popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cone equipment for special events and fundraisers. They also offer 70 different flavors of snow cone syrups.
Staff and ambassadors of the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce gathered at  The Shebang  with  Joyce Duke  and  Larry Duke  on Thursday, August 22 for a ribbon cutting. Joyce and Larry are new Chamber members with their three Monkey Island businesses - The Shebang,  Big Shots , and  The Den of Uniquity  – long established businesses that have been a huge part of Monkey Island beginning in 1980 with The Den of Uniquity, 1984 with The Shebang, and 1999 for Big Shots. These three fun and exciting attractions include a restaurant, a clothing boutique, and a dance club all in the same complex making it the perfect stop to eat, wine and dine, drink, dance, and shop – THE WHOLE SHEBANG. Be sure to watch for their events coming up including karaoke nights, Sip Sip Sashay, and the many, many fun evenings always being planned for this wonderful complex of businesses.
