HOMETOWN HEROES - WORLEY LUGINBUEL FUNERAL HOME
Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home is recognizing Hometown Heroes each month and would like your help with nominations. The person chosen will have their story shared on the Worley Luginbuel Facebook page, be recognized with a ceremony, and receive a token of appreciation. Groundbreaking - The Regatta on Grand
Gated and guarded Grand Lake’s new exclusive RV resort, The Regatta on Grand, has begun construction and was kicked off this morning with a groundbreaking ceremony. The resort will be located at Ballerina Point at Sailboat Bridge and will feature a 270 degree view of the water on ½ mile of amazing lakefront property. The features of the resort will include 87 RV sites with 43 being waterfront and spaced 50’ apart for privacy. There will also be party pods and a meeting space for public events. Look for a May – June opening of this beautiful addition to our community.

Attending the event and manning the shovels were owner Teresa Poindexter, Representative Josh West, Grove City Council member Matt Henderson, Grove City Council member Marty Dyer, Marc Newman, and Logan Poindexter along with many business representatives from the community.

Professional Driven Solutions
The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors welcomed new Chamber member Professional Driven Solutions on Wednesday, December 18. PDS is a Professional Employment Organization offering assistance in many areas including human resource services, ASO services, tax compliance services, payroll services, bookkeeping services, employee handbooks, and much more. PDS will be offering Lunch & Learns in our area every other month throughout the year beginning in January so be on the lookout for more information concerning these events. Leadership Grove
Thank you to INTEGRIS Grove Hospital’s Matt Henderson for planning a very exciting day for the Health & Human Resource session of Leadership Grove 2020. The day included a tour of the hospital with speakers Debbie McKee, INTEGRIS Grove Hospital Infection Control and Elizabeth West, Regional Director of Grand Lake Mental Health Center. The class also witnessed a “birth” while Reina Speer demonstrated a mannequin that actually birthed a “baby”. Lastly, a trip over to EMS with Jeff Dozier and his knowledgeable staff who demonstrated some emergency medical techniques including a trip around the lot in the ambulance. The class is currently wrapping up their class project which will be an evening fundraiser at Shangri-La. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the purchase of a Fire & Safety Trailer for the Grove Fire Department.
