"By all these lovely tokens, September days are here. With summer's best of weather and autumn's best of cheer." — Charmaine J. Forde

Nothing says autumn more than knowing there will be football on TV for the next 6 months. I know the Davis household is excited!

As we kick-off a busy month at the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, we want to pause and say a special thank you to our passport shopping participants and sponsors that jumped into a new program and supported the efforts to make visitors aware of the opportunities to shop, eat, stay, and explore the lake region. We will be doing LIVE drawings on Facebook at our passport sponsor locations this Thursday. We’ve received passports back from multiple states! We will evaluate the program soon and make plans for the next adventure for 2026 to make non-locals aware of the vast number of opportunities to explore the area. We appreciate the input and planning that took place for months from our retail and marketing committee to launch this new initiative.

The GACC is working closely with the City of Grove to research and apply for grants to benefit our local municipality and area members and partners. If you are aware of any outlets or organizations that award grants, please contact us and let’s connect so we can learn more. We want to hear from you!

There is a full calendar of activities and events for September to connect with other members to help bring awareness to your business or organization. This is also a great time to make sure your log-in to Growth Zone is active. You can update your business profile, add a logo, and add events to the Chamber website. Take advantage of this part of your Chamber membership and build your brand. We are here to help.

Make it a great month!
