RIBBON CUTTING
Essence Chemical
A Ribbon Cutting was held by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors on Thursday, April 13, 2023, for Essence Chemical. Regional Manager Scott Malone had worked in the chemical industry via Tyson Foods for many years but joined Essence Chemical in November of 2022. Through Essence Chemical, Scott provides quality products for municipalities (including the City of Grove), hospitals, schools, senior living facilities and more. Some of the products offered by Essence Chemical include waste treatment products, floor and ground care products, cleaning and sanitizing products, air fresheners and much more. Scott is the Essence Chemical representative for the entire state of Oklahoma, Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas and says that the business has “really taken off” over the past 5 months and he is very thankful for the support.
Ambassadors attending the Ribbon Cutting were Dalton Homan – Edward Jones, Sharie Cox – Grove’s Royal Liquor, Jamie Johnson – Grove Nursing Center, John Sawyer – Sawyer Phillips Insurance, Jacob Wallace – Grand Savings Bank, Todd Franke – AmeriSpec Home Inspections and Angela Hamilton – Grand River Abstract & Title. RIBBON CUTTING
St. Andrew's Daycare & School (St. Andrew's Academy)
A Ribbon Cutting was held by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors on Thursday, April 13, 2023, for St. Andrew’s Day Care and School (St. Andrew's Academy). Father David Bridges, Director of the academy, started the daycare at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Grove OK in 2020. By 2021, they had grown so much that they needed their own space. After considering many options (including an old funeral home!), the facility across the road from Grove Upper Elementary was chosen. The 100-year-old building had sat empty since 2017 and needed a complete overhaul, including a total electrical re-wire after it was discovered that the building had been hit by lightning while unoccupied. Formerly a grocery store, office supply store, lawnmower repair shop and, for the last 50 years, a daycare, the large building is completely restored, secure and safe. St. Andrew’s Academy offers a faith-based, educational daycare experience with music and art classes, field trips and lots of learning and fun. They accept Tribal and DHS subsidies and have regular daycare service for ages 0 – 5 years and an after-school program for kids under 12. St. Andrew’s Academy is always hiring and always enrolling so give them a call today!
Ambassadors attending the Ribbon Cutting were John Sawyer – Sawyer-Phillips Insurance, Sharie Cox – Grove's Royal Liquor, Todd Franke - AmeriSpec Inspection Services, Jamie Johnson – Grove Nursing Center, Jay Alexander – Grand Savings Bank, Jordan Perez – FirsTitle, Jacob Wallace – Grand Savings Bank, Matt Carnes – Bank of Grand Lake, Dalton Homan - Edward Jones, Ken & Myra Noteboom – Individual Members and Angela Hamilton – Grand River Abstract & Title Co. Also attending the Ribbon Cutting were Father David Bridges – St. Andrew’s Academy Director, Talitha Cooper – St. Andrew’s Academy Manager and Connie King – Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice-President.
