RIBBON CUTTING
Nelson Mobile RV Repair
A Ribbon Cutting was held by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors on Thursday, June 22, 2023, for Nelson Mobile RV Repair. While their current home base is at Monkey Island RV Resort, owner Adam Nelson and his family-run business will take care of repairs at your location. As their saying goes: “We come to you with a price that’s fair.” A veteran and former law enforcement officer, Nelson has more than 10 years of experience in the RV repair industry. After being laid off from his former RV repair job on Veteran’s Day in 2015, Nelson wanted to embark on a career path that would ensure financial stability and security for his family. Their first mobile RV repair vehicle, a Chevy Suburban with bad brakes, was purchased shortly after with a tax return and, with only $20 left in their bank account, they purchased window markers to advertise the business on the old Suburban’s windows. Through hard, honest work and the recommendations and referrals that come with it, Nelson Mobile RV Repair is making quite a name for itself. Adam has many years of experience in repairing RV's, RV appliances and RV air conditioners. He is ®Dometic certified, can fix travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes and can work with most warranty and insurance companies.
Ambassadors attending the Ribbon Cutting were Nancy Morgan – Grand Lake Newcomers Club, Ken Noteboom – Individual Member and AmeriSpec Inspection Services - Todd Franke. Also pictured is Adam Nelson, son T.J. Tax-Serfass, daughters Angelicyah Tax-Tzunun and Nataleigh Tax-Serfass, wife Mary Tax-Tzunun, Chamber President Laura Huckabee and Chamber Executive Vice-President Connie King.

Time After Time Antique Mall
Time After Time Antique Mall is growing! The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors had the pleasure of helping Beth Pedraza and the Time After Time family officially introduce their newly expanded building with a Ribbon Cutting at their Grand Opening celebration last week. After plans to expand Highway 59 left the Pedraza’s property with one less building, they decided to expand one of their current spaces to nearly double the size! Time After Time, originally opened by Pedraza’s grandmother 35 years ago, has more than 5,000 square feet of indoor shopping space and lots more outside. You can still get their amazing coffee and treats from their coffee bar and the always popular Friday Paint Parties will continue as well. Come see what treasures are in store for you at Time After Time Antique Mall today!
Chamber Ambassadors attending the Ribbon Cutting include Sherry Devitt-Hilton - Legacy Real Estate, Jay Alexander - Grand Savings Bank, Nick Bowers - Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative/BOLT Fiber Optic Services, Ken Noteboom - Individual Member and Grand Lake Newcomers Club representatives Mina Herren-Hale, Bobbi Bodine (who won a door prize!), Sharon Morton, Linda Ferguson, Carol Williamson, Debbie Rutledge and Claudia Stogsdill. Also pictured: Connie King - Chamber Executive Vice-President and Laura Huckabee - Chamber President.
Do you have a neighbor that takes care of their yard like no one else? Or perhaps you drive by some gorgeous landscaping on your way to work that makes you smile? If so, nominate them for the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce's "Yard of the Month" and they could win some great stuff! Call, come by or email the chamber the address (and name/phone number if you can) of the Grove area home that you want to nominate.
