Grove Outdoor Adventure Trail System (GOATS)

Grove Outdoor Adventure Trail System (GOATS) are working towards buying the 46 acre tract between Harbor Road and 10th Street to build an Outdoor Wilderness park for the community to enjoy - believing that being more connected to nature helps people live a more health and happy life. This would give the community miles of trails within a wilderness setting right in the heart of downtown Grove. Imagine our very own Central Park.

Leadership Grove Project 2020
The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Grove class of 2020 presented a check for $4,260 to the C.O.W. Week students to go towards the purchase of a firehouse for the Grove Fire Department to use for the children of our area. The Leadership Grove group was asked this year to choose a project that is near and dear to their hearts and to have it completed before the class graduation which was January 23. A fundraiser was held by the Leadership group in January at  Doc's Bar and Grill at Shangri-La  with a Tequila, Tacos, and Trivia event which helped the class raise the money. Be on the lookout later in the year as Leadership Grove will commence again in September with nomination forms going out in late July.
