RIBBON CUTTING
Harp Law and Grove Mural Dedication
A Ribbon Cutting/Mural Dedication was held at Harp Law, located at 33 W. 3rd St., Grove. The Ribbon Cutting included the dedication of the Grove Mural that was painted on the Harp Law building by Tahlequah artist Mallory Anderson and funded by the Northeast Oklahoma Board of Realtors, the Harp Family and Harp Law. Attorney Bryce Harp, originally from Moore, Oklahoma, moved with his family to Grove in 2017. A year ago (almost to the day!), Bryce moved his law practice into the 120-year-old downtown location on West 3rd Street. The entire office space has been lovingly renovated and remodeled by Tyler Choate of TTA Construction out of Vian and Bryce’s wife, Abby Harp. Bryce and his family love the town and community of Grove and are overwhelmed by the support they have received. This is a large part of the reason why Bryce wanted to give something back to the community he loves – and that’s where Realtor Kim Clark stepped in. Clark, with ReMax and the Northeast Board of Realtors, was inspired by the Downtown Revitalization projects in recent years and felt that the Harp Law building was a perfect spot for a mural devoted to the Grove/Grand Lake area. Taking inspiration from murals in Texas and Florida, Clark and artist Anderson wanted to incorporate elements of Grand Lake and the surrounding area. With the mural completed, the corner of Grand Street and West 3rd is now a destination for tourists and locals alike to take amazing pictures! Kim and the entire Harp family are so happy that everyone in the community loves the mural.
This Ribbon Cutting was attended by many including family and friends of the Harp family and local business representatives including Grand Savings Bank, ReMax, Legacy Realtors, Keller-Williams, BOLT Fiber, Northeast Oklahoma Electric Coop, ATMS Consulting, Grove’s Royal Liquor, Grove Area Creative Alliance, Sawyer-Phillips Insurance, Grove Nursing Center, Farmers Insurance, Grand River Abstract & Title Co. and Grand Lake Real Estate Professionals.
Also attending were The Harp Family: Bryce, wife Abby and daughters Haven and Sadie as well as Oklahoma District 5 Representative Josh West, Grove Mayor Ed Trumbull, Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice-President Connie King and Grove Convention & Tourism Director Brent Malone.
RIBBON CUTTING
The Hilltop Inn & Suites
A Ribbon Cutting was held on Friday, March 31, 2023, by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors at the Hilltop Inn & Suites, located at 61991 E. 315 Rd. in Grove. Conveniently located just South of town past Honey Creek Bridge, the Hilltop is Grove's premier hotel choice for visitors of the Grand Lake area. Purchased in July of 2022, owners Chris and Dawn White have fully transformed the historic local Inn from the parking lot to the pool. They wanted the Hilltop to be the “ultimate place to stay” for visitors of Grand Lake. The hotel features 32 completely remodeled guest rooms outfitted with new custom furnishings, linens, fixtures and original artwork from local, Grand Lake photographer R.C. Livesay throughout. With new amenities and features on the way, including key-less entry, the Hilltop looks forward to an ever-evolving hotel to fit your vacation needs. On top of all that, the Hilltop Inn & Suites is the only hotel in Grove that has an in-house restaurant: Honey Creek BBQ!
Ambassadors attending the Ribbon Cutting were Marty Follis – American Financial Network, Julie Handrich – Tri-State Insurance, Jenny Wilhelm – Grand River Abstract & Title Co, John Sawyer – Sawyer-Phillips Insurance, Angela Hamilton – Grand River Abstract & Title Co, Scott Roberts – Reinsurance Specialties, Nick Bowers – BOLT Fiber Optic and Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative, Jay Alexander – Grand Savings Bank, Sharie Cox – Grove’s Royal Liquor, T.J. Burden – Farmers Insurance, Steve Odle – Grand Savings Bank, Jim Barbuto – Ridgeline Roofing and Julie Pace – Grand Lake Real Estate Professionals.
Also pictured are Hilltop Inn & Suites employees Wynter Davenport, Karen Curry and Onsite Manager Rebecca Chewey, Oklahoma District 5 Representative Josh West, Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice-President Connie King and Grove Convention & Tourism Bureau Director Brent Malone.
