Friday, August 1st, 3-6pm, Community Baby Shower honoring Delaware County Families, at Jay Community Center, 429 S 9th Street in Jay. Families will receive FREE Baby supplies whiles supplies last. The Parkinson's Support Group meets on the second Thursday each month at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is open to YMCA members & non-members. Caregivers are encouraged to attend. If you or someone you know has Parkinson's, there is a Parkinson's Combination Exercise Class and Speech Therapy Class that meets every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 in the YMCA's downstairs group fitness room. There are chair exercises for the body and speech exercise to strengthen the voice and the muscles used for swallowing. The class is free.

GROVE PLAYMAKERS THEATRE
Grove Playmakers Theatre Presents "Savannah Sipping Society"!
Performance dates are July 24, 25, 27, 29, 31, & August 1, 3. Sundays are 2:00pm matinees, all other dates are 7:30pm.Ticket prices are $8 for students and $15 for adults.
It all takes place in Savannah where four unique women, all needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, are drawn together by Fate, and an impromptu happy hour. Drinks and the confessions of dissatisfaction in their lives lead to laughter, misadventures, and the help of a life-coach. They discover lasting friendships and a renewed determination to live in the moment. Most importantly, they realize it's never too late to make new, old friends.
