LENDONWOOD GARDENS
Lendonwood Gardens has joined a nationwide effort to save the Monarch butterflies. The effort all started with an idea by Melba Dagy and was funded by a grant from the Rotary Club of Grove. Many different types of plants that attract butterflies are found in the garden including Verbana, Zinnias, Ox-eye Sunflower, Fire Pink, Lantana, Marigold, Liatris, and Purple Coneflowers. It is truly a huge task and the hard work that is involved in keeping the gardens up shows. The seasonal changes are amazing all twelve months of the year.
