GRAND AREA CREATIVE ALLIANCE
Creative Alliance meeting - 4th Thursday of the month 12:00pm-1:15pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 555 E 3rd St Grove. The Creative Alliance showcases organizations, businesses, and individuals that inspire, enrich, and educate the members of our community. All types of creators and all supporters of the arts are welcome to attend.

Group Fitness Showcase - January 20th 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Free to everyone to check out fitness offered. A new class starts every 15 minutes.
The Parkinson's Support Group meets on the second Thursday each month at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is open to YMCA members & non-members. Caregivers are encouraged to attend. If you or someone you know has Parkinson's, there is a Parkinson's Combination Exercise Class and Speech Therapy Class that meets every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 in the YMCA's downstairs group fitness room. There are chair exercises for the body and speech exercise to strengthen the voice and the muscles used for swallowing. The class is free.

GRAND RIVER SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS
Interested in a career in the live sound engineering field? Grand River School of Performing Arts currently has openings for sound engineer trainees at live shows in the NE Oklahoma region. You'll get hands-on training from a seasoned professional who has more than 35 years of experience working with big name bands and traveling the world. Friday, January 12th, the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting at Heavenly Angels House, inc., 512 5th Place, Grove, OK. Director Cindy Clark spoke about the 7 year process of bringing the vision of a social hospice home to fruition.
