Your Chamber @ Work

Happy Spring Break Week!

It’s been great seeing the increase in boat traffic back out on the lake over the past week. Tournament season has ramped back up in full force and that can only mean the peak season is right around the corner.

We just wrapped up our 27th annual Home & Garden Show last weekend with more than forty vendors. We had attendees from multiple states. Our 40-inch TV winner was from Texas! We want to thank those that sponsored and purchased booth space for the event. The show is one of our major fundraisers to support the mission of the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce (GACC) and the engagement this year was extremely appreciated. We are excited to get moved to the new Wolf Creek Expo Center in 2026 and add some new things to the show. Being able to increase back to hundreds of vendors will be incredible for everyone involved.

We have some important dates coming up to get on your radar. Be sure to check out our community calendar on the GACC website. If you are hosting an event in the region and it is not listed, please visit www.groveok.org and click on events. On that page, you will see a small icon in the right corner to add an event. We are averaging nearly a thousand page visits daily and the top visited section is events. Folks coming to the lake are looking for things to do so definitely take advantage of this feature on our website.

We are wrapping up sales in the 2025-2026 Vacation and Relocation Guide. If you have not secured your ad and wish to join us in marketing the lake region, reach out today. We have added over eighty distribution locations across five states and the guide is now available for download on our website. The guides are now available in the travel information centers across Oklahoma. It’s a perfect time to jump on board as we continue to increase our lake-wide marketing efforts. Watch for more new marketing campaigns to launch soon!

Registration is open for the annual Grove/Grand Lake Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol on April 1st. You can register on the website from selecting the event on our community calendar. We hope you will join us for this important trip to OKC.

As always, the GACC is here to serve as a resource for you and your business or organization. There are so many areas to engage in and become an active participant in programs that can advance your brand awareness. We are a phone call or email away and ready to assist you.

Make it a great week!
