GRAND LAKE FAMILY YMCA
The Parkinson's Support Group meets on the second Thursday each month at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is open to YMCA members & non-members. Caregivers are encouraged to attend. If you or someone you know has Parkinson's, there is a Parkinson's Combination Exercise Class and Speech Therapy Class that meets every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 in the YMCA's downstairs group fitness room. There are chair exercises for the body and speech exercise to strengthen the voice and the muscles used for swallowing. The class is free.

Thursday, February 29th, the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting at Kubota of Grove, 33600 S. 620 Rd., Grove, OK. Mark Rawson spoke about Kubota being in this location since 2005, with the current ownership since 2012. They have all types of farm and construction tractors and equipment, hay/farm implements, utility vehicles, mowers, and much more. You can visit with them at the Home & Garden show March 8-10.

Thursday, February 29th, the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting at Angler's Inn, 430 N. 21st St., Grove, OK. Chris and Dawn White spoke about and gave us a tour of their beautiful inn, offering 9 rooms (one is handicap accessible), conveniently located across the street from Wolf Creek Park. They opened in January with a business model similar to a VRBO. They have easy boat parking with electric and lights for visiting fishermen. Welcome to the Chamber!
