Collecting donations for the Christian Help Center food bank in Grove and CASA. Requested items - canned goods or a Christmas bag (Christmas dinner). No glass jars please. Hats, underwear, gloves, socks, coats, and shoes.

WIN A PLAYHOUSE/DOGHOUSE - COMMUNITY CRISIS CENTER
Purchase a $5 raffle ticket for you "house" of choice. All proceeds will help provide safe housing for victims of domestic violence. Tickets can be purchased at www.getmeout.org , all Community Crisis Center office, Rustic Rehab, Lowes, and Carter's in Vinita. Winners will be drawn December 13th and will have 72 hours to pick up their prize.

GROVE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE OPEN HOUSE
Saturday, December 14, 3:30 - 7:00 p.m., Grove City Hall, Downtown Grove
Attend an open house during Grove’s annual Christmas Parade and festivities to provide your input into the visions and goals for Grove that have been developed for Grove’s new comprehensive plan. Walk through displays and chat with planning team staff while you enjoy refreshments and warm up inside City Hall! The new comprehensive plan will guide Grove’s decision making and development for the next 20 years, and we need your feedback to make sure the plan integrates the visions and goals that are most important to Grove residents.

PLAYMAKERS NEW YOUTH PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM
Enroll in The Playmakers' new "First Act Theatre" training program and/or the "Rhythm Dancers" dance teams by calling 918-786-8950. Auditions for the "Rhythm Dancers" teams are Monday, January 13. Leadership Grove 2020
Session 7 already!

Many thanks to County Clerk Barb Barnes and Grand River Abstract's Alexis Gibe for planning a great day for the Leadership class on Thursday, December 5. The day included a tour of the county offices, the sheriff's department, and the county jail. The group also attended Judge Alicia Littlefield's drug court. Thanks also to Johnny Earp, president of Grand Savings Bank in Jay who presented the group with information about the Northeast Oklahoma Regional Alliance (NORA). Lastly, thank you to Grand River Abstract & Title Co. for providing lunch.

Be sure to be thinking about who you would like to send to Leadership Grove next year and be on the lookout next summer when Leadership Grove nominations will be mailed out!
