The Parkinson's Support Group meets on the second Thursday each month at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is open to YMCA members & non-members. Caregivers are encouraged to attend. If you or someone you know has Parkinson's, there is a Parkinson's Combination Exercise Class and Speech Therapy Class that meets every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 in the YMCA's downstairs group fitness room. There are chair exercises for the body and speech exercise to strengthen the voice and the muscles used for swallowing. The class is free.

GRAND RIVER SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS
Interested in a career in the live sound engineering field? Grand River School of Performing Arts currently has openings for sound engineer trainees at live shows in the NE Oklahoma region. You'll get hands-on training from a seasoned professional who has more than 35 years of experience working with big name bands and traveling the world. Grove Area Chamber Business After Hours was held at UFFC Mortgage Grove on Thursday, March 21st. Bryan Jarrett spoke and introduced the staff, Scott Moore, Joyce Boyer, Lance Gaertner, and Pam Sparks. UFFC has been in business for 16 years, they have been in this current location for 1 year. Drawing winners were Franklin Morris, Burke Eyecare; and Donna White, McGraw Realtors - Grand Lake. Thank you to the staff at UFFC for hosting this at their beautiful facility! Business After Hours is a great opportunity for chamber members to network and to learn more about the products and services offered by their fellow members.
