Your Chamber @ Work

“‘Maybe Christmas,’” he thought, “‘does not come from a store. Maybe Christmas ... perhaps... means a little bit more!’” — Dr. Seuss, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”

If you were able to join us for the Shop Grand Lake Grand Finale and Lights on Grove

Celebration last weekend, you would agree that the feeling of community, holiday spirit,

cheerfulness, and joy was felt throughout the large crowd. As we wrapped up the first Shop Grand Lake Holiday Experience, our team was in awe of the feeling of pride and achievement. Not for us, but for the feeling that meant a little more as we celebrated many new things. As you continue to shop locally and support our member businesses, we hope you will take some time this season and focus on those memories and moments, that mean a little more.

We want to say a special thank you to the City of Grove and Grove Rotary Club for their

partnership in the event and the hard work they put into making the night so special. We

appreciate the merchants, sponsors, and shoppers and your investment into this new program.

Please mark your calendar for Friday, December 5, 2025, and plan to join us for another special gathering as we celebrate Grove and Grand Lake and wrap up our 2025 Shop Grand Lake campaign. Watch for details and dates as we will start all over again in just a short eight months.

Saturday is the Grove Christmas parade, and our team is finalizing details and making the final additions to the participant list. If you have not registered, please help us, and get that done today so we can pre-plan for your entry for our announcers and live stream on KGVE. We can still fit you in, but it would be extremely helpful to our committee if you could stop by today. Thank you in advance for helping to make the parade a continued incredible community celebration.

If you have not reserved your spot for the December 19th Holiday Legislative Event, call today and RSVP. We will not have tickets available at the door. With over one hundred tickets sold, we know it will be a wonderful time to celebrate 2024 and hear an update from Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell. We hope you will join us.

Thank you again for joining us for Lights on Grove. It was a magical evening.

Have a great week,

~Amanda
