June 2022, Vol. 2
July brings us heat, fireworks, ice cream, and more fun in the VA sun. This July we have lots of park playdates, parent gatherings, and a special DMV theatre show with our MD and DC friends (Mr. Popper's Penguins is so much fun!).

Join PJ Library® and Growing Jewish Families families for a play date at Imagination Stage! Mr. Popper’s Penguins, based on the beloved children’s book, is a “musical play, featuring expert puppetry, depicts a wild and witty way to follow your dreams–and your convictions.” Connect with us before the show for a special gift!

School Supplies
The Pozez JCC will be holding a fun event on August 21st and will be collecting school supplies! Watch for sales and drop off supplies to Amy or Laurie at the J. Check out the organizations below for a list of supplies needed and donate there if it is more convenient for you. Some of the listed places have not started there 2022-23 campaign, so check back in on them. If there is a local school supply drive to you, please email us at [email protected] and we will keep a list!
J-Family Ambassadors
If your family is raising a Jewish newborn or toddler, one of our J-Family Ambassadors is here to welcome your growing family into our Jewish community! Your neighborhood JFA will greet your family, help you make connections, build friendships, and engage in Jewish life in Northern Virginia. Fill out the form online to be contacted by your Ambassador.

Do you have friends or family with a new family member? We would love your referrals!

J-Family Ambassadors NOVA is presented in proud partnership by Pozez JCC and The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.

Preschool: Early Childhood Learning Center

The Pozez JCC's Early Childhood Services department offers the highly sought Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) which promotes developmental growth through creative interaction between children and educators within a warm, caring environment that's based on Jewish values and inspired by the Reggio Emilia learning philosophy.

The program is offered in two convenient locations in Fairfax and Alexandria
