Jasper County School District students in grades 3-8 on both the Hardeeville and Ridgeland campuses were able to experience one of the most incredible STEM/Science shows ever hosted by Shark Tank's finest, Mr. Michael Green, a.k.a. The Science Machine! Mr. Green stars as the main character in, The Science Man STEM cartoon, the first African American animated STEM cartoon! Throughout the show, students learned about aerodynamics, the chemical properties of polyacrylate, electric circuits, and more! 

Jasper County School District is pleased to announce that its scholars who performed at or above grade level, as measured by the state assessments, will be celebrated at an upcoming Awards & Recognition Ceremony. In addition, JCSD will celebrate those students who scored a perfect score on state assessments. 

The Awards Recognition Ceremony will convene as follows:

November 1, 2022 - 9:00 a.m. - Hardeeville Auditorium (By Invite Only)

November 2, 2022 - 9:00 a.m. - Ridgeland Auditorium (By Invite Only)

Jasper County School District's Human Resources Team presented a very comprehensive and engaging Professional Development Session to participants at the National AASPA's 84th Annual Conference. 

The session entitled, 'The Human Approach to HR: Intentional, Inclusive & Authentic', provided meaningful feedback and strategies to meet the constant challenges of teacher and staff shortage, retaining teachers and staff, and hiring and onboarding faster.
