Mississauga, ON - The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) and BrettYoung are pleased to announce the renewal of their multi-year partnership, continuing a strong relationship that supports connection, networking and professional development within Canada's turf management community.
As part of the renewed agreement, BrettYoung will continue as a Bronze Sponsor of the Canadian Golf Course Management Conference (CGCMC) Opening SociALL for the next three years.
“BrettYoung has been a valued partner of CGSA, and we are thrilled to continue building on our relationship,” said Tyler McComas, CGSA President. “Their multi-year commitment provides important support for the Opening SociALL and allows us to continue offering our members a welcoming opportunity to connect with colleagues and industry partners at the beginning of our signature event.”
“BrettYoung is proud to continue our longstanding partnership with the CGSA,” said Travis Unger, BrettYoung’s Vice President, Professional Turf & Reclamation. “The CGSA provides invaluable leadership and support to Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents and Equipment Technicians through education, networking and professional development opportunities that strengthen golf facilities across Canada. We are pleased to support these initiatives and look forward to connecting with members from coast to coast in Halifax in 2027.”
The Opening SociALL will once again provide conference delegates with an opportunity to relax, reconnect and network with fellow golf course professionals and industry partners following the first day of education, Tuesday, February 23.
The Canadian Golf Course Management Conference will take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from February 23 - 25, 2027 featuring an education program focused on business, leadership and innovative turf management topics. The conference will also feature Canada’s largest golf management trade show, bringing together suppliers and golf course management professionals from across the country.
CGSA thanks BrettYoung for its continued commitment to the association and the Canadian golf course management industry. We look forward to celebrating this partnership with BrettYoung and our members at the Opening SociALL.
