This CCI student is also a college student. Her family lives in a remote hill community without electricity and with limited connectivity. Her parents struggle to support her education, but with help from church leaders and affordable lodging with friends, she has been able to continue her studies.
She has completed three CCI classes. The New Testament Survey especially touched her heart, deepening her understanding of Jesus’ life, death, resurrection, and command to take the gospel to all nations.
She now helps lead Sunday School for children, putting her learning into practice. She hopes to complete her CCI training alongside her college education and serve unreached people in her own community. She shares:
“I cannot believe that I have this opportunity to know God and receive this kind of training through CCI here in a rural area. I am grateful to Pastor D, who travels a long distance to teach us. His sacrifice and commitment encourage me because a true disciple is willing to sacrifice for Jesus Christ and share the gospel in remote areas. Therefore, I believe it is also my responsibility to serve the people in my community.
“Please pray for me, my family, and the Tripura marginal community, that one day many will accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. I am also grateful to our teacher and all the team members who regularly attend the class and encourage me.”
This student's testimony reminds us that discipleship can raise up young indigenous leaders even in remote and underserved communities. Through CCI ministry training, she is not only growing in her own faith but also beginning to serve children and reach others with the gospel.
