ASSETS and Everence recently celebrated our growing partnership, the release of the new Balance Magazine issue featuring our two organizations, and ASSETS' 30th anniversary!

In the article, we share how our organizations continue to build on a history of mutual support and spotlight some of the entrepreneurs whom we've worked with and that are making an impact in our community. Lastly, during the celebration, Everence gifted ASSETS $1,554 through their MyNeighbor credit card program!

Keeping Doors Open

ASSETS is a member of the PA CDFI Network. Join us for a panel discussion to learn about the success of the Pennsylvania CDFI Network in helping small businesses across Pennsylvania. You will learn how legislators, CDFI’s, and small businesses came together in response to COVID-19, to distribute over $250 million to ensure economic support to keep Central Pennsylvania small business doors open. Idea Incubator
March 8th - May 10th
Are you sitting on a great business idea or maybe you own a start-up and are looking to refine your business plan?

If so, the Idea Incubator may be right for you. This program is made to meet your needs as you plan to successfully launch or grow your business.

This program offers an interactive and conversational way for a group of aspiring entrepreneurs to learn and work through the early stages of the business planning process.

Upon completion, participants will leave with a solid business model, an outline for community impact, an understanding of what their next steps are, and an understanding of foundational business models like developing a minimum viable product and a target market.

Together We Can: A Townhall for Targeting Hidden Injustices
March 18th | 8:30 AM- 12 PM
The forum will look at where Lancaster County is achieving diversity, equity, and inclusion and where it is falling short. Small-group discussions will promote connections, build camaraderie and serve as a catalyst for collaborative, coalition-style advocacy.

Finance Boot Camp
April 13th – May 11th
The Finance Boot Camp is a 5-week crash course held semi-annually and is geared towards entrepreneurs with business ideas and start-up businesses who have not fully developed the financial foundation for their business. Upon completing this course, you’ll gain the financial knowledge needed to start and operate your business confidently.
