Dear Volunteers,
We hope this email finds you all well, and want to thank you for your time and support of not only the shop, but of Guadalupe Center, and our mission to break the cycle of poverty through education for our students. We wanted to provide a brief update to keep our team on the same page.
A lot has been happening in recent weeks. Some of you may have noticed the upgraded security system. This new system will give us better coverage of the entire store as well as exterior and doors for safety. Making sure everyone is safe is important to us!
We are thrilled to share that we have two new stockroom employees. Clark has started and Jose will join us next week. If you have not yet met them, please say hello when you are in the shop next.
We are hearing lots of positive comments from our shoppers on the quality of the merchandise and cleanliness of the shop. We know that this is a reflection of YOU and all of your hard work.
If you are leaving for the summer, we look forward to seeing you in the fall. If you are staying, we are grateful to have your help these next few months.
Here's to a great finish to our year - with your help the shop is raising funds to support high-quality educational programming for more than 1,900 children in Immokalee. We could not do it without you!
