Guaranteed Admissions Program
Trinity High School and Gwynedd Mercy University
Gwynedd Mercy University in Philadelphia and Trinity High School have signed an agreement guaranteeing qualified Trinity graduates admission and a four-year scholarship to the university.

"With a strong academic reputation and a long history of educating Trinity graduates, Gwynedd Mercy University is a valuable partner for Trinity High School," said Principal John W. Cominsky. "We thank Gwynedd Mercy for working to keep tuition affordable for our community."

Gwynedd Mercy University guarantees admission to Trinity students who earn a Trinity diploma, score at least a 1080 on the SAT or 22 ACT composite, earn a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, complete at least 16 units in prescribed and elective subjects (4 units of English, 3 units of mathematics, 3 units of science, 1 unit of history and 3 units in any college preparatory subject). Students will also need to submit a completed Undergraduate Application for admission by January 1, 2019.

Trinity students will be guaranteed a merit scholarship of at least $14,000 and a Catholic Higher Education Achievement Grant of $3,000 per year. These awards are renewable for an additional three years provided students remain in satisfactory academic standing and maintain the appropriate cumulative GPA for their program of enrollment.

Trinity students seeking admission to programs with heavy math and/or science requirements, including accounting, biology, computer information science, mathematics, and nursing/other health professions programs must also have earned excellent grades (A's and B’s) in those courses. Due to space limitations, Gwynedd Mercy University cannot guarantee admission to the University’s Occupational Science, Radiation Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, and Respiratory Care programs, but strongly encourages interested Trinity students to apply for admission.
