in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and Trinity High School have signed an agreement guaranteeing qualified Trinity graduates admission and a merit scholarship to the college.
Messiah College will guarantee admission and a four-year renewable scholarship of at least $8,000 per year ($32,000 total value) to graduates of Trinity High School who apply to Messiah College, including competitive programs, based on the following criteria:
- Admission to the College: Students must have a 3.0 GPA (with no grades equal to or less than a D+) and either a 1040 SAT (with a score of at least 500 ERW and Math) or a 20 ACT composite (with a score of at least 37 combined English and Reading). Students who meet these criteria will receive, at minimum, an $8,000/year four-year scholarship.
- Admission to Engineering: Students must have at least an 1180 SAT (with at least a 580 SAT Math) or a 24 ACT composite (with at least a 24 ACT Math).
- Admission to Nursing: Students must have a score of at least 560 on the SAT ERW or 27 Reading Sub Score and an SAT Math score of 530, or a 21 ACT composite with a minimum of 44 combined English and Reading and a 21 ACT Math minimum; grades of at least a B- in two science classes with lab components are also required.
Admission to Messiah College Early Assurance Programs (Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy) and other pre-professional partnerships will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and admission will be determined at the time of application.
