Guardian Bash Auction Donation Drop-Off December 9-11
As the holidays are approaching, so is our fourth annual Guardian Bash. This year's "Livin' it Up in Kansas City" themed annual dinner and auction is currently set for Saturday, February 20, 2021. The Guardian Bash task force has begun work on SMA's largest fundraising event, and we need the participation of all SMA families to help to make it a success!

Auction donations are needed!
  • Donate an item, basket, gift cards, electronics, art, jewelry, tools, home goods, service or sports tickets.
  • Offer something special, such as a unique experience or handmade gift that can't be easily purchased anywhere else.
  • Join with other families to provide larger items, baskets, trips or services.

Auction Drop-Off: The Guardian Bash task force is hosting auction drop-off mornings from 7:30-8:30 AM on December 9 - 11 at SMA. Students of families who drop-off an item during this time will receive a free spirit wear dress pass. All SMA families are encouraged to donate at least one item to the auction. DECEMBER - Humility

Humility is the awareness that all our gifts come from God and appreciation for the gifts of others.

What does humility look like?
Taking time for prayer; particularly a prayer of gratitude
Going last and waiting for others to go first
Thinking of others before yourself
Letting someone else know they did a good job
Being joyful at another person’s success

What does humility sound like?
Jesus, thank you for all the blessings you have given me.
You can go ahead of me.
Would you like this seat?
You did a really good job.
You are really good at that!
