Guardian Stride - NEW!
On the Friday of Homecoming Week, all SMA students will be participating in a fun, 30-minute walk around campus, called the Guardian Stride. In preparation for this student-driven walk-a-thon, each student will be required to mail letters asking for donations to sponsor them in the Stride. The proceeds of this important event will be applied to the “gap” that exists between student tuition and the actual cost of their education, making this a great opportunity for the students to play a part in contributing to their education.

Step 1 - Due by Wednesday, Sept. 9 or Thursday, Sept. 10
Collect 15 contacts with addresses (friends, family members, neighbors, Legacy Alumni, fellow parishioners, doctors, etc.) that you are willing to mail a letter to asking for support. This will be an assignment through the English Department.

Step 2 - Week of Sept. 14
Students will personalize and mail letters (provided by the Advancement Office). If you are able to bring your own stamps, that would be great!

Step 3 - Friday, Sept. 25
Students will participate in a 30-minute walk around campus. Various prizes will be awarded.

Step 4 - Early October
Students will address and mail postcards to those who have sponsored them.

We appreciate your support and participation in making this a successful fundraiser!
