Young Adult Group, St. Vincent de Paul
Promoting faith and fellowship for Catholics in their 20s and 30s

Greetings!

We have an exciting line-up in the next few weeks!

First, to all of those who attended the last Catholic Underground Bay Area, thank you and we hope you had a wonderful time! Stay tuned for their next event!

The Gubbio Project will once again be cooking up a hot breakfast for our homeless neighbors at St. Bonafice Church on Friday October 12 from 6:30-8:30am. Please email Christina (stvincentsyoungadults@gmail.com) to get on the volunteer list!

The Archdiocese of San Francisco is excited to offer a group called "The City on a Hill" which will focus on the unique needs of Catholic young adults. Their first Theology on Tap event is scheduled for Tuesday October 16 where George Wesolek will be speaking on "California Politics and the Catholic Vote". Tuesday October 30 brings Bishop McElroy to the bar as he talks about "Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship: A Call to Political Responsibility." We invite you to "Like" the group's Facebook page to stay up-to date with all of their future events!

Finally, St. Vincent's YAG is very pleased to offer a Bonfire at Ocean Beach following Mass on Sunday October 28th. We'll provide pizza and fixings for s'mores. We ask that you bring a beverage and/or snack to share, a smiling face, and perhaps a guitar (or kazoo!) for some fireside tunes! Check the calendar soon for updates.

Blessings from your Young Adult Leadership Team,
Christina Sullivan, Courtney O'Haga, Paul Boyer and Greg Sirotek
