Mark Beswick
In 1998 Mark Beswick and long time friend and song writing partner
Howard Francis, founded the Power Praise Worship Band.
Mark Beswick and the Power Praise Worship Band recorded and released two live albums, the first of which was the 1998 recording "True Praises" followed by the 2003 release "The King is Coming", both of which were distributed through the Kingsway Musical label. These albums feature critically acclaimed songs: such as: "True Praises", Sing Unto The Lord, "The King is Coming", Wave Your Hands" and My Help".
As an individual, Mark has won a number of awards for his songwriting and has been repeatedly recognised by the music industry for his work as a vocal producer/arranger, working with artists such as 'Take That', 'Lulu', Spice Girls', 'Eternal', 'Damage', 'Maxi Priest,', to name but a few.
Mark has also lead worship at some of the UK's foremost Christian festivals, events and conferences, such as 'Soul Survivor', 'Worship Together', 'Spring Harvest', 'Grapevine', Festival of Life', Global Day of Prayer' and the Kingdom Worship Movement'.
Mark along with The Power Praise Worship Band have won multiple wards for their music, including an OASIS Music award in 2003, two international Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards in 2004 for 'Praise and Worship Artist award at the 2006 Oasis Music Awards.
A gifted bible teacher and speaker, Mark is often called upon to share his unique understanding of the word of God to cross-denominational church congregations, bible schools, workshops and seminar events .
Today Mark continues to work as a songwriter and is currently leading worship and teaching at various events and conferences throughout the UK and internationally.
