Guide Your Students in Career and Apprenticeship Exploration with Free, New Classroom Materials
TSA partner Apprenticeship.gov has collaborated with Scholastic to release a free, new set of educational materials introducing middle school students, parents, and teachers to apprenticeships.

This set of materials including a student magazine, teacher guide, and classroom poster builds upon the original “Jobs of the Future” educational program launched earlier this year and illustrates how apprenticeships can help students develop soft skills.

Encourage your middle school students to begin thinking about their future careers and start a conversation about how youth apprenticeship opportunities can serve as a foundation for jumpstarting a career. You can download the materials for free on Scholastic’s apprenticeship webpage for use in your classroom and with TSA members.

These aren’t just for middle school students. High school students also will enjoy reading the student magazine for profiles of youth apprentices that provide a snapshot into the many types of youth apprenticeship opportunities available for juniors and seniors.

Visit Apprenticeship.gov to learn more about youth apprenticeship programs and download additional apprenticeship resources.
