Our Mission
Diamond Care Inc. provides services for seniors and adults with physical or cognitive disabilities. Our mission is to enable any adult or senior to safely and comfortably age in their place of choice for as long as possible, with dignity, confidence, and, to the greatest degree possible, quality of life, whether it be their own home (our In-Home Care-Provider program) or at our Residential Care Home in French Camp, CA.

Providing high quality, fully licensed professional staff to implement these programs is an essential element that is inherent in every service we provide. It is, in fact, the foundation and hallmark of the organization. Accordingly, we adhere to very strict guidelines and requirements with all of our services and care providers.

As always, we maintain a safe environment - All patients and care-providers are tested on a regular basis to ensure that they test negative for COVID-19.

YOU'VE BEEN FULLY VACCINATED, NOW WHAT?
This article contains excerpts from the CDC Website

WHAT DOES FULLY VACCINATED MEAN?
People are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 two weeks or more after they have received the 2nd dose of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine, or two weeks or more after they have received a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine

THEN YOU CAN :
  • Spend time with other fully-vaccinated people, even indoors, without a mask or physical distancing, still using universal cautions such as washing hands and not eating from each other's plates.
  • Spend time indoors with masks, not necessarily physical distancing with unvaccinated people from a single household who are at low risk for severe "COVID-19 disease, still using universal cautions such as washing hands and not eating from each other's plates.
  • Travel domestically without a pre-or post-travel test and without quarantining after travel.

KEY POINTS
  • For now, fully vaccinated people should continue to take precautions in public including wearing a well-fitted mask and physical distancing.
  • Wear masks, maintain physical distance and adhere to other prevention measures when visiting with unvaccinated people who are at increased risk for severe COVID-19 disease or who have an unvaccinated household member who is at risk.
  • Wear masks, maintain physical distance when visiting with unvaccinated people from multiple households
  • Get tested and notify your doctor if you experience COVID-19 symptoms.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR MENTAL HEALTH

Talk to yourself as you would speak to someone you love and care about. When you practice self-compassion you will find that you can be better able to help others.

Be aware of your feelings. You may feel frustrated, stressed, or trapped. These are difficult times for us all so it is very understandable. (1) Expressing your feeling aloud and/or writing them down, will help you process them. (2) Taking 5-10 deep breaths will help. (3) Connect by phone, e-mail, or video time with family and friends. It's important to stay connected and will help you feel more relaxed. (4) Stay physically active. Go for a walk (with a mask on) if you can, stretch, do an at-home workout, or just turn on some music and dance! (5) Meditate daily. It can be as simple as just thinking of a beautiful scene, doing some deep breathing, or focusing on your favorite saying. (6)

DCI VACCINATION DAY Diamond Care was very pleased to have been able to provide vaccinations to elderly, adults with disabilities, health care workers and volunteers at our French Camp residential facility.

BENEFICIARY DESIGNATIONS OVERRIDE WILLS
Many people think that their will or trust is all that is needed to make certain that their assets go to the desired recipients. A beneficiary designation is a legally binding document that supersedes a will or trust. That means that no matter what your will or trust says, the assets you named in a retirement account, insurance policies annuities and bank accounts, will go to the person names in those documents. If no one is named as your beneficiary on these accounts, state laws will determine who receives the benefit. These documents should be reviewed on an annual basis!.
