Dear Guild Community:
We have all heard much about the post-Thanksgiving surge in COVID-19 cases nationwide. “Positivity-rates” in Massachusetts are as high as nine percent in some areas and across the country, we’ve seen rates as high as 17 percent. Fortunately, the post-Thanksgiving COVID-positive rate at The Guild is at “only” one percent. But, we know that the virus incubation period is not over; so we are continuing to test and adhere to our safety protocols.
Visitation
As we move into the next phase of the holiday season (Happy Chanuka!), The Guild is reviewing visitation protocols. The Guild continues to allow offsite and onsite visitation as outlined in previous emails; however, beginning on Monday, December 14, 2020, such visits will be restricted to guardians and immediate household members and only once per week.
We recognize that additional steps may be frustrating for some; however, these are necessary measures to ensure that safety and communication protocols are being followed to protect all members of The Guild’s community.
Vaccinations

The Guild’s leaders are attending a stakeholder call with Secretary Mary Lou Sudders about the Commonwealth’s plan for distribution of a vaccine or multiple vaccines on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 2:30pm. The following is an invitation to that information session:
