Special Announcement!

Call for ALL Artists

Flora And Or Fauna Show

This show is sponsored by BankNewport, Saccucci Honda and People's Credit Union

Due to concerns about social gatherings, the Portsmouth Arts Guild has decided to make this announced show a Virtual Gallery Show. This means that there will be an intake but it will be by email only. There will be no physical handling or transporting of art works.

The theme of this show is animals, human or otherwise, that's the Fauna, and, or plants, vegetables, weeds, trees and more-that's the Flora! Everything counts down to the bacteriological level. Imagination is encouraged. All work is welcome from both Guild Members and Non-Members. Show us your cat, your garden, your backyard, your significant other or something else.

This is a non-juried show so all work submitted will be accepted and shared.

Members and Non-Members are invited to submit up to three images of art for this show.  Due to the digital nature of this show, most work will be two-dimensional, though photos of 3-D work will also be accepted.

Here's where intake differs from the usual Guild shows:

Intake is the week of April 1 st to April 7 th .  Artists must email pictures, in jpeg format, to the
[email protected] address.

The Virtual Opening Celebration , meaning the show will be online, will be Friday, April 10th.   The show will be visible to hundreds of people on the Guild social media sites, Facebook and Instagram.   A selected sampling of the show will be on the Guild website.

Artists Take Note--SHOW ENTRY INFO--
