Assemblage with Lindsay Adler
This fun and insightful class will have you transforming those things you have held onto and wanted to do something with for years into a unique and meaningful assemblage.
Date: 4 Wednesdays, March 4-25
Time: 12-2:30 PM
Tuition: $140/130 members ($20 materials fee payable to instructor)
Make and Take: Collage Greeting Cards Workshop with Lindsay Adler
Have you always wanted to try collage and make your own unique cards for any occasion? This class will be fun and informative and have you exploring several collage techniques.
Date: Saturday, March 14
Time: 11-1:30 PM
Tuition: $35/$25 PAG members ($10 materials fee payable to instructor)
Creative Drawing with Wayne Quackenbush
This class will come up with 7 words or phrases each week to stimulate the imagination. These prompts will form the basis for daily drawing. In class we will learn techniques for creative drawing.
Date: 5 Fridays, March 13-April 10 OR April 24-May 22

Acrylic/Oil techniques with Lynn DeBeer
For the beginner or intermediate painter, this course will teach fundamental painting techniques that you can apply to any subject from materials to brushwork, color mixing, texture and tonal value. A great place to start if you are new or returning to oils or acrylics.

Draw Like.....! With Suzanne Lewis
Draw a landscape like Van Gogh, with bamboo pen and ink, a cubist still life like Picasso or a portrait like Chuck Close using a grid. We will not be copying works by these famous artists but learning about their materials and techniques to create our own masterpieces.
Date: 3 Mondays, March 17-31

Alcohol Ink With Mary Wojciechowski
Alcohol inks differ from other fluid mediums as they flow, intermingle and create unique textures, often with unexpected results. This workshop offers opportunities to explore the characteristics of these inks and the accessories and tools used in the process.

Open Figure Studio With Wayne Quackenbush
Open to all media and skill levels. No instruction - simply an opportunity to paint or draw from live models in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The models may be clothed or nude. There will be a series of short and longer poses depending on the wishes of the group.

Time: 6-9 PM
Tuition: $60/50 for PAG members (tuition is to pay models)
Painting the Portrait from Life with Eileen Mayhew
This 4-week course is open to those who have some experience in drawing the portrait. Each 2 1/2 hour session will begin with a live model. Learn how to set up the structure of the face in paint, while mixing the flesh tones.
Dates: 4 Tuesdays, April 7-28
Time: 10-12:30 PM
Tuition: $150/140 members (plus $40 model fee to be paid on April 7)
Open Portrait Studio
Join this 4-week open portrait studio with a different model each week. Open to all media. No instruction simply an opportunity to draw or paint the portrait from live models in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The models will be clothed and do a 2 hour pose with breaks in between.

Time: 6:30-8:30 PM
Tuition: $65/55 members (tuition is to pay models)
Watercolor and Colored Pencil with Suzanne Lewis
Watercolor and colored pencil work beautifully together to get crisp, colorful works of art. Use watercolor first in a loose manner and then go in with colored pencils (not watercolor pencils) for a crisp, exciting finish.
Dates: 3 Mondays, May 4-11

Beauty is Enough: Mandala Workshop with Beth Adoette
Come enjoy the beauty of natural objects and the artistic process as you create a nature mandala for the day. This is all about enjoying the moment and sharing it with those around you. All materials are provided but will not be taken home. So bring your camera (High resolution digital prints are also available for $15)
Instructor: Beth is a Rhode Island artist who illustrates, photographs and writes about what she calls "Contemplative Sacred Circles" she discovers or co-creates with nature. Beth holds a degree in fine Arts and Certification in Eco-Art Therapy. Learn more at www.bethadoette.com
