RECENT EVENTS

Sept. 30 & Oct. 1 – The first of the 2023 Chamber Series, Olympic Feats of Opera, was held at the Gunter Theatre.

Sept. 12 – Our Guild Season Kickoff welcomed back about 30 members at the home of Sue Fisher.

Sept. 9 & 10 – The first GSO concert of the season, with Music Director candidate Geoffrey Robson, was outstanding.

Sept. 8 & 29 Orchestra Dinners – Many thanks to those who contributed. We fed 75-80 performers on Sept. 8 and 45-50 on Sept. 29. The Chamber dinner was held in the Gunter lobby (due to renovations) and allowed diners to watch Main Street visitors stroll by.

Sept. 8 – Pianist Andrius Žlaby gave a thoughtful Guest Artist Masterclass at the Governor’s School. As one of our Guild members said,  "Master classes are wonderful for showing the interaction between master teacher and serious students and in raising the artistic bar."

Our mission is to enrich lives, inspire minds and encourage

community support of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra

through volunteering and fundraising.
