Quote of the Day

"My husband has gone to many swap meets trying to locate this piece to no avail. This is a very rare piece only made for the 1973 Olds. If you know where I can get my hands on this part please contact me."

Website Reader Cindy adding a Parts Wanted request for her husbands' 1973 Olds 442 on our new Guys With Parts Page!
Our Free Parts Wanted and For Sale Page!
You asked for it and we're pleased to launch it! We added the capability to list parts both for sale and wanted on our site.

It appears to be a hit right out of the gate as we received two "parts wanted" and one "parts for sale" request within hours of the launch!

The page is: GuysWithParts

Unlike other sites that charge up to ten percent to list parts, we're offering this service for free with no ads and no other hidden costs!

Our “Classifinds” section highlights collector and special-interest vehicles we find on Craigslist for sale by private sellers each day.

Wagon Wednesdays are all about classic stations wagons that were the SUVs of their day.
Solid Survivor: 1962 Buick Special Station Wagon – $6,500

Despite its version of GM’s Y-body compact entering its second model year, Buick earned the coveted Motor Trend Magazine Car of the Year Award when it introduced its 1962 V6 powered Special lineup. Not many ended up being produced, especially in station wagon form such as this survivor listed on Craigslist in Elmira, New York. Check out the one-piece rear lift gate. We wonder whether this was a design first – can you confirm?
NEW! Award 50: 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Nomad Station Wagon – $13,500 FIRM

In our book when you put terms in your car’s listing like “mostly original”, “not a show car”, “factory A/C not working”, and “driver quality” you’ve signaled your classic is at the “Good” level of pricing. That was our first impression of this 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Nomad station wagon listed earlier this week on Craigslist in St. Albans, New Vermont. What the car does have going for it is what appears to be an incredibly straight and rust-free southwestern body and frame, however that should not be...
Recent "Classifind" Updates
First SUW:
1998 Subaru Outback Limited 5-Speed
STILL $6,499

The private seller of this repainted ’98 Subaru Outback just updated his listing confirming his very clean wagon is now CarFax Certified and just passed the New Jersey state inspection that’s good through September 2022. Candidly, we’re surprised this car has not sold yet as it is easily the cleanest example we’ve come across.
Knows What He Has: 1960 Mercury Commuter Station Wagon
Now $7,500

Our prediction this rare Mercury would languish for sale proved true as we’ve come across a fresh Craigslist ad where the private seller has finally lowered their asking price to a still optimistic $7,500.
Introducing "Classifind Cuts"

We can't write in detail about every cool "Classifind" we come across, so we're introducing "Classifind Cuts" - check these out!
Classifind Cut 4: 1956 Ford Park Lane Rat Rod – $15,000 OBO

The 1956 Ford Parklane was a one-year-only model two-door premium station wagon designed to compete with Chevrolet’s Nomad launched the year prior. A Rat Rod version of one just listed yesterday on Craigslist in Howell, New Jersey
Classifind Cut 3: 1990 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser – $2,450 OBO

Oldsmobile produced its downsized second-generation Custom Cruiser station wagon from 1977 through 1990. A nicely patina’d example of the final year of production is this 77K original mile, 307 cubic inch V8 powered unit currently listed on Craigslist in New Haven, Connecticut
Before You Buy, Make Sure You Get a PPI!
At GuysWithRides, we believe a pre-purchase inspection (“PPI”) is a mandatory part of buying a collector car. A great looking car on the internet will still have its flaws and that’s why you need to insist on a PPI before you buy.

In his latest video, Rudy walks you through the PPI experience last week using GuysWithRides’ new partner,, to provide a detailed inspection on our project 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Hardtop.
