Spring Sports
Girls Lacrosse
The Homestead Highlanders Girls Lacrosse teams started their season last Friday away at Arrowhead High School. It was a beautiful, but chilly evening in Hartland for the opening games. JV started things off with a game in the sunshine. Unfortunately, they fell to AHS JV 0-13. Varsity followed as the sun was going down and what a contest it was. The score was back and forth the entire time and your mighty highlanders prevailed with a score of 8-7! The first time beating AHS!

Monday evening had our first contests at home under the lights. It was nice to see people in the stands again and a small student section. DSHA came to visit and both JV and Varsity ended up with losses.

Up next are away games at Franklin on Wednesday.

For those of you with JS Online access, our game against Arrowhead was featured. Here is the link: Prep girls lacrosse: Homestead vs. Arrowhead White (jsonline.com)
