It's Almost Bike Month
May is National Bike Month! It’s time to dust off that bicycle in your garage and ride to an event in your community. The Houston-Galveston region is huge and there are events happening in almost every corner to celebrate bicycling. See how you can get involved .

As our population and congestion increases, finding alternative ways to get to work is critical for our region. In the Houston-Galveston region, 25 percent of people live within 5 miles of their workplaces, an ideal distance for bicycling. By bicycling to work, you will benefit from better health!

H-GAC’s Bike to Work Day is Thursday, May 16, 2018. If you want your events listed on H-GAC's website contact Clint McManus .
