YOUR FAMILY & COMMUNITY RESOURCE CONNECTION

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Summer is a season of sunshine, family gatherings, and creating lasting memories with friends and loved ones. At H.O.P.E. Family Resource Center, we believe that strong families and supportive communities are the foundation of a brighter future for everyone.

As children enjoy their summer break and families spend more time together, H.O.P.E. remains committed to providing nutritious food, clothing, school supplies, and resources that help families thrive. Through the generosity of our volunteers, donors, and community partners, we continue to serve hundreds of families throughout our community with compassion and dignity.

We encourage everyone to take time this summer to connect with family, check on neighbors, and lend a helping hand to those who may be struggling. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference and remind others that they are not alone.

Thank you for being part of the HOPE family. Together, we are building stronger families, fostering meaningful friendships, and creating a community where hope grows every day.

Wishing you a safe, joyful, and blessed summer!

Community Partnership Delivers Meals, Hope, and Encouragement

H.O.P.E. Family Resource Center was proud to partner with the Alpharetta-Smyrna (GA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to provide meals and support to families in our community.

The event brought together volunteers, community partners, and faith leaders to serve nutritious meals and offer encouragement to attendees. We are especially grateful to First Christian Church of Mableton for providing prayer and spiritual support to families during the event.

To ensure everyone was reached, several community partners helped deliver meals to families who were unable to attend, including seniors and individuals with transportation challenges.

This collaborative effort demonstrates the power of partnership and our shared commitment to serving others. H.O.P.E. extends heartfelt thanks to Kappa Alpha Psi, First Christian Church of Mableton, and all volunteers and partners who helped make this event a success.

Summer Cavatelli with Corn, Tomatoes and Zucchini

This pasta dish just screams summer! Fresh cavatelli pasta is combined with cherry tomatoes, zucchini, corn, and marinara and topped with basil and Pecorino Romano. This meal comes together in less that 20 minutes—perfect to whip up on busy weeknights. Try this Grilled vegetable Orzo Pasta Salad and Warm Pasta Salad with Corn and Zucchini for more of my favorite summer pasta.

Food Insecurity - Donate Now

We all know what it’s like to feel hungry after skipping a meal. Hunger is a feeling that can be different for everyone, but food insecurity measures the conditions that can lead to hunger.

Food insecurity describes a household’s inability to provide enough food for every person to live an active and healthy life. One "bad month" can be enough to plunge a household into food insecurity. Lay-offs at work, unexpected car maintenance or an accident on the job can suddenly force a family to choose between buying food and paying bills. Working families across America face countless situations that can result in food insecurity and hunger.
