National Novel Writing Month, Our 6th Year
This November, over 500,000 people all over the world will attempt to write a 50,000-word novel by midnight, November 30. Local writers will meet at the library every Saturday in November for write-ins from 10:00-3:45. Come when you can! Leave when you like! Brainstorm, socialize, and boost your word count in the company of others who are doing the same. Last year, some authors produced upwards of 3,000 words in a single session. (That's 12 pages in the average printed book!) Join us on Wed. Dec. 3 at 7:00 for Getting into Print: Understanding Publishing Options for the insider scoop from Deidre Randall of PER Publisher.

The Library's Minecraft Club continues to meet on Wednesday afternoons 2:30 to 4:30. However, they are changing their name to MAGE - which stands for Minecraft and Assorted Games for Everyone. They will still be playing Minecraft, but will also be playing other multiplayer interactive online games together. Bring your own laptop. The Library plans to upgrade the Local History room with hubs for improved connectivity. WiFi will still be available.

The Teen Think Tank meets on the first Thursday of each month to discuss programs and services specifically designed for teens. Share your ideas & have some pizza with us on Nov. 6 at 6:30.
For more info contact the Young Adult Librarian, Kim Claire: [email protected]   978-468-5577.
