GVB Vice President Bobby Alvarez touched on the meaning of “Håfa Adai” and the spirit he witnessed at the Dr. Thomas K. Lee Dental Clinic. “When one walks into a dental clinic, it can be a little daunting. Welcoming patients and visitors with a warm 'Håfa Adai' says more than just 'Hello.' It exudes comfort, respect, care, and love to whoever you say it to. This is what Thomas K. Lee DDS will be sharing with their patients, visitors, and local community through this pledge,” shared Alvarez.

The employees of Thomas K. Lee DDS Clinic displayed great spirit and excitement to be a part of the program as they upheld their pledge, “to wear island print scrubs” with mar mars and traditional flowers during the ceremony and welcomed each incoming patient with local treats and enthusiastic “Håfa Adai!”
