Living the Håfa Adai Pledge:
FAUSTINO TMILCHOL
Faustino Tmilchol has been a Security Associate with The Westin Resort Guam for more than four years. He demonstrates the Håfa Adai Spirit through his great attitude and high degree of ethical conduct.

On February 6, 2018, Faustino noticed a child swimming near the pool’s stairs without a floatation device unsupervised. Instead of ignoring the situation, Faustino knew the right thing to do was to find the parents immediately. When Faustino turned around, he noticed the child had got into the deep area of the pool. Without hesitation, he took immediate action and pulled the child out of the water. The parents quickly rushed to Faustino and thanked him for his courage and kindness.

When visitors plan their trips to our beautiful island of Guam, the goal is to have great experiences and create memories. A tragedy is never wanted from a vacation nor meeting unpleasant people. Luckily for these visitors, Faustino prevented what could have been a tragic day on our island. Faustino's act of courage and kind demeanor will forever serve as a representation of the island of Guam and our people's Håfa Adai Spirit to the visiting family. Faustino serves as an example for all, that every day we are responsible for making Guam a better place to live, work, and visit!
