David Henderson, MD
Dr. David Livingstone Henderson is a board-certified psychiatrist, author and speaker. He obtained his medical degree from Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine, and then went on to complete a residency in Psychiatry at the University of South Carolina. Currently, Dr. Henderson works in private practice in Dallas, TX for Southwest Clinical and Forensics and serves as the Department Chair of Counseling and Psychology at Criswell College. He is also an adjunct professor at Dallas Theological Seminary and an advisor to the Board of Directors of ROCK International, a worldwide relief organization designed to help families suffering from the effects of natural disasters, poverty, and abuse.
Dr. Henderson has a variety of research and clinical interests including anxiety, depression, chemical and behavioral addictions, and the effects of worldview and spirituality on mental and physical health. He has presented both internationally and nationally on radio and at various conferences including American Family Radio, Prime Time America, Christian Radio Magazine, the Christian Medical and Dental Association, and the American Psychiatric Association.
