VIRTUAL REALITY: FIELD TRIPS from HOME
COLORADO RIVER AQUEDUCT

While learning about the journey of water to Southern California, students from grades
4 - college can immerse themselves in a virtual tour of the Colorado River Aqueduct system. The Aqueduct VR App is available for Apple  and  Android  mobile devices. The VR goggles are required for optimal viewing. The tour is also available on YouTube as a 360-degree video in  English  or  Spanish  with or without a headset.

CALIFORNIA AQUEDUCT

During this virtual tour of the State Water Project, students, from grades 4 - college, will discover the 700 mile system of canals, reservoirs, pipelines, power and pumping plants that move water to Southern California. There are 360-degree photos of seven sites, including the Bay Delta, Lake Oroville and the San Luis Reservoir. The Aqueduct VR App is available at the  Apple  and Google Play  app stores. The VR headset is required for optimal viewing. A 360-degree video tour is available on YouTube and can be viewed with or without VR goggles in English Spanish , and  Mandarin .

Our education team is available to facilitate customized webinars for grades kindergarten - college. Each session is customized to your lesson plan; the topics can range from water recycling to climate change to the water cycle.
